The student will travel to and from school independently. No drop-off or pick-up is needed.

Host an international student
Becoming a host family in BC
We are an international student agency based in Surrey, BC, specializing in supporting students from Japan.
We are looking for warm, responsible, and welcoming families in the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas who are interested in hosting international students.
As a host family, you provide more than a place to stay. Sharing your home and everyday life gives students an opportunity to experience Canada in a personal and meaningful way.
We support both our students and host families throughout the homestay. If questions or concerns come up along the way, our team is here to help.
What We Ask of Our Host Families
We ask our host families to:
- Provide three meals a day.
- Provide a furnished private bedroom with a bed, desk, chair, and dresser.
- Spend time with the student and include them in everyday family life.
- Provide an English-speaking environment.
- Communicate with us if any questions or concerns arise during the student’s stay.
Where We Are Looking for Host Families
We are especially looking for host families within walking distance of a SkyTrain station.
Students may stay anywhere from approximately two weeks to three years, depending on their program.
Students in these areas attend local secondary schools and typically arrive for the September or February intake.
Both short-term and long-term stays are available.
ANNUAL ONE-MONTH PROGRAM
February–March 2027
We look for host families in these areas each year for our one-month program.
